Windows 10: Since 20H2 update background colours of apps, drop down menues, URL bar etc changed to brown

Since the 20H2 update the background colours of all apps and drop down menues have changed to either brown or green, this applies for example to email list in Thunderbird, Windows 10 URL bar, EPSON scan menue, etc, etc.

Even on this webpage now the drop down menues below: "Category" and "Windows version" have a brown background. This annoys the life out of me because I previsously had a neutral white/very light grey backbround


I have followed various suggestion re changing setting in Personalization, Colours, or Themes, alas with no success.


Anyone found a solution for this after 20H2?

20H2 Start Menu App Tiles Background Color

So after updating to 20H2 the default color of app tiles in the Start Menu changed. Previously, things looked like the Theme settings preview (see first image). Now, however, App Tiles are just Dark Gray on a Black background.

I know that it is possible to have different color backgrounds for app tiles. If I have to go somewhere and edit something, that's fine but if there's some setting I'm missing that's better.

Sorry for delay in reply...have followed your suggestion..and it works...but i could do with colour code ...think it's called Hex or something..so i can change the colour from the default brown .

CorelDraw Menu Bar Not Visible After Upgrade To Windows 10 (Font and Background Same Color)

Menu Bars not working -High contrast selection is not a solution

If you change to their high contrast setting, it screws up menus on internet explorer then and also still doesn't solve the problem in all areas of CorelDraw menus. Also it means all the other areas are ugly and still makes other areas invisible in other
programs.

Also, if you choose the custom high contrast settings, to try to fix this, it won't actually change them to the different colours specified. (try getting changing your background to cobalt blue, writing to white, and change your lime green and browns to
pinks or burgandys or light blue. it won't do it.

Also I want to choose my display settings as before, not the crappy choice of colours they have now. I want my cobalt blue, not these ugly lime green and brown colours for a background.

This program worked fine on the previous windows versions. Why can't windows 10 provide a patch? It seems like everytime windows has a problem, the suggestion is a 4 page make-work for me, and when I do bother to do the steps, it rarely fixes the problem. I
would much more prefer a patch that does the work for me and that has been tested to have fixed the problem.
