Windows 10: Since I have had Windows 10 none of my keyboards will type the letter "q" I have to copy...

This has been the same with 5 keyboards, including named brands, Logitech, Razer etc. So not a hardware issue.... But totally inconvenient and confusing as to why.. Any ideas???

Keyboard not typing letters

Sorry for the delay in replying. I would suggest you to try the Onscreen keyboard and check if it helps.

Please have a look at this article and check if it helps. Even though the article is for Windows 8.1, the option to enable the onscreen keyboard is the same.

Use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) to type

After you are able to log in, I would suggest you to change the log in option or you may follow the steps provided by Neha Gupta to update the drivers and check if it helps.

Keyboard not typing letters

My PC keyboard will only type numerals. No letter keys are working. Since my password is all letters I cannot sign in.

I have been running Windows 10 since its release.

Keyboard typing the wrong letters after Windows 10 reinitialisation

I recently got laid off but was given my work computer. I had to reinitialise Windows 10. When it started again, I couldn't enter my personal login i fo because the keyboard is typing the wrong letters and characters. I tried the numlock..did not work.
I tried using a usb keyboard, and it was still typing the wrong letters. Q is now A. M is comma (,) and the @ symbol is nowhere to be found. Can anyone help me? Thank you
