Windows 10: Since installing Windows 11, the built in camera on HP Envy is no longer "detected"

Hello,Facial recognition upon the "hello" start states no camera detected. Have disabled & enabled, shut down & restarted and used the online diagnostics run thru with no success.

I use zoom a lot and just got a new HP Envy laptop. My camera does not work. Any suggestions???I have tried everything on windows 11 re: permissions, updates, etc....nothing.!!

HP Envy Laptop Battery not charging after Windows 10 installation

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.

We suggest you to run hardware and devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Please follow these steps:

• Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar and click on it in.
  
• Click "View all" and then click "Hardware and Devices".
  
• Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.
