Windows 10: Since last update Temp Profile - can't access Microsoft Store - can't get printer/scanner...

Since update earlier in the month I initially could not log onto my profile at all, then I was able to log in, but only on a temporary profile

My printer is saying it needs an App to scan, trying to access Microsoft Store - which tells me I need an app for that, but I can't access Microsoft store as I'm signed in on a temporary profile

I've tried to go on the HP site to download but that has not worked because it directs you to the need for the App again, available, you guessed it, via the Microsoft Store

I'm at a total loss, the last update seems to have rendered my laptop useless for the basic tasks I need to use it for

iTunes has a similar issue ...

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Managed to solve it... here´s how I did it just in case anyone else has the same problem...

->Settings

->Printers & scanners

->Add a printer or scanner

->The printer that I want isn´t listed

->Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings

->Use an existing port: USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB)

->Choose printer

->Use the driver that is currently installed

->Type printer name

And done... =P

 

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?
