Windows 10: Since the most recent Windows update, my laptop is extremely slow at start up.

I am wondering why my computer is very slow at start up.

Jumplist sometimes extremely slow

I bought a new laptop with Windows 10 recently.

Only after a few days, the jump lists started to get extremely slow.

But they behave that way just for a while, then they work as they should again.

When slow, it takes several minutes for the jump list to appear. It is extremely annoying. Especially e.g. when I have opened a remote desktop and want to open another one via the jumplist.

I had exactly the same problem with my old Windows 7 PC and assumed that I would get rid of that problem,
changing both PC and OS, but no.

I do not want the standard answers to this problem:

- Disable Aero

- Clear the (Explorer) Cache for Jump lists

- etc.

It is definitely something else. I mean, how would the jump list cache get full after only a week? And why does the jump list get slow only sometimes and then suddenly works just fine again?

So please, give me an answer that takes this into consideration.

Sorry I missed the bit of the task manager.
Here I captured a couple right when I started up the laptop.







By the way the startup was only ok while the HP guy disabled the superfetcher. I've restarted superfetch so it does takes a while to startup again.

I actually removed the second RAM memory card which I put in when I sent it in to HP for repairs, I haven't put it back so it's just using 4GB. The memory doesn't seem too bad though. It does stick at about 40%- 50% but that's not what I'm worried about. It's the CPU and Disk.
I can do another Windows Assessment Kit trace if that will help.

I'm deffinately using the latest version of Windows 1803. It updated to 1803 the day after I got it back from HP. I even left it alone all afternoon to do it. Update history page in Settings is empty. (The update has been disabled by HP to try see if that sorted out the problem).
