Windows 10: Since update 1803, windows key plus X does not work

    Since update 1803, windows key plus X does not work


    I am scare updating Windows, since update 1803 a few days ago, now the Windows key and X dont work. If I press that combination, I get a menu on the start button, the shutdown option is one of them, the upper case S for sleep is suppose to put the computer in sleep mode, that is not working, instead I get the stupid cortana menu.


    My question is: how can I fix this?



    Come on Windows people, you guy fix one thing I guess, and break many more.


    I just reinstalled Windows because I had the famous problem that you right click and cannot create folder.


    By the way, I am using Windows 10 Pro 64 bits.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Equals Key Wont Work

    We suggest that you update the keyboard driver. You may follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows logo + X key on the keyboard.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Keyboards.
    • Click on the driver and click on Update Driver Software.
    • Click on Next and follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

    Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803)

    Any Office365 users here? Does Outlook (or any Office app for that matter) request activation after each system restart post this Windows 1803 update?
