  2. Cannot see NAS drives after intalling build 10.0.10586

I have seven win 10 machines in my household. After updating 3 of the machines from 10.0.10240 to 10.0.10586 they lost the ability to see all of the NAS drives (2 Dlinks, one Lenovo and one WD My Cloud) in windows explorer. The un-updated machines continue
to access the NAS drives as before but the updated machines cannot see the NAS drives. Are there any suggestions before I start randomly changing the settings to get NAS access back?

    Thanks.

Loss of access to NAS drives after win 10 update to Ver 2004

Loss of access to NAS drives after win 10 update to Ver 2004. I have LAN setup incorporating WiFi, with PC & Laptop of which both have lost NAS connection. I have a further problem as being forced to do a factory install and lost most of windows Apps. When
I try to Map a network drive I receive Windows cannot access \\NAS-, with error code 0x80070035. The Dell G3 laptop which had previously had NAS access, now had No access.

As a further check I have an older Laptop with a delaminated screen but still running Win 10 Ver 1909 and I can still access NAS drives. I delayed updates for a month and disconnected the NAS access, restarted everything and was able to map all 4 NAS drives.
I think Microsoft has made another BoBo. Makes one once again think about Linux/Red Hat

Accessing Windows FROM NAS servers -- Windows latest update

Have you tried enabling this? The text says "allow insecure ie non Windows" connections is on by default but I have seen claims the default is now off ie text is out of date
