    Single machine, single Win 10 license, but dual boot: does the license allow this?


    I have a single computer and single full non-OEM Windows 10 license. However I would like to boot this single machine in two different configurations: one for home use, with normal productivity software; the other with only music production software so it runs fast and efficiently.Because it would be dual boot, it would only ever be running in one boot image or the other, not both simultaneously.So does the Win 10 full license allow me to legally create a second boot drive for the same computer, using the same license, so I can boot the same machine in two different configurations?

    Windows 10 Single Language License Key

    My Laptop was purchased in Germany with Win 8.1 in German. I downloaded, installed and used Language Packs for English and French without problems for 8 months. Microsoft encouraged upgrading to Win10 and after I upgraded to win 10 neither the English or
    French language packs would install.

    In a live MS tech support chat, the Microsoft Techy told me that my Windows 10 license key was a "single language license" and the language packs would not work with Win10 on my laptop.

    The MS Techy told me that if I needed to use language packs then I would have to go back to Win 8.1 within 30days.

    How can Microsoft grant a windows license that allows multiple display language packs in Win 8.1 and yet treats it as a "single language license" in Win 10 ????

    Are there Windows 10 / 7 Dual Boot license restrictions?


    When Windows 10 comes out, I'll upgrade my 7 Pro license to 10.

    I really want a dual boot environment. I know how to build a 7 / 10 dual boot machine. Question is about licensing.

    Can I legally use my current Win 7 license along with the free upgrade license Windows 10 to dual boot the machine?

    Or would i need a Win 7 license and a separate Win 10 license (one which isn't just an upgrade of the Win 7 license?)

    How to copy then delete win xp Pro from dual Partitioned single hdd with windows 10 as dual boot

    I have old computer with Win XP Pro and I had added win 10 and made a single hdd a dual boot. Now I would like to copy all of XP and install on other computer and erase win xp from this dual boot to just win 10 boot

    If you could show the step by step way of doing this. That would be Great.
