Windows 10: Single vs double arrows on lower left of Windows desktop icons

Windows 10 Pro version:

Version 2004 Build 19041.572

What is the difference between these two arrows? One is a double 'arrow' or pointers. The other one is a large curved arrow. Here's what they look like.

Most (not all) of desktop icons now have two small curved arrows in the lower left corner, although most shortcut icons still have a single arrow there. These new arrows popped up for .jpg, .pdf, Word and Excel files on the desktop. What happened and why?

Thank you for your reply, appreciate the time taken by you in keeping us updated on the status of the issue.

Please be informed that, if we single left click on the Start button it will open the tiles menu. We no need to double click on start button to open this tiles.

However, the issue is causing from last week, I suggest you to restore the system to the previous point where PC was working normally. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:

• 
  Press Windows + I key and click on Update and security.
  
• 
  Click on Recovery, and click on
  Restart under Advance startup.
  
• 
  In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click
  'Troubleshoot'.
  
• 
  Click, Advanced Options and then click on
  System Restore.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen suggestion to restore your PC to earlier point.
