Windows 10: Singular horizontal purplish line on monitor.

Hi,This is my first time using this feature so my bad if I make a mistake. I tried to attach an image but it’s not working apparently. But I have a horizontal line on my monitor and it won’t go away. I’ve tried to check if my drivers were up to date, checked Bios and it said that my display and graphics card were fine, I’ve tried resetting the graphics card, I’ve unplugged and replugged the display port cord. I’ve turned it on and off. i’m at a loss and idk what to do. it’s not the worst thing i’ve ever seen but it’s distracting and annoying to me. it’s a brand new monitor too. i have only use

Monitor has horizontal & vertical lines

Hi,

I am unable to see anything on my monitor except for horizontal and veritical lines. This computer is brand new, has worked for a month. I think it's related to the connection from the monitor to the laptop as when I push on the monitor I was able to see
a little the other day. I'm unsuccessful in seeing anything now. I've tried to to restart, I've removed the battery. any other suggestions or do I need a technican?

horizontal lines

Hi, having trouble with horizontal lines on monitor. Cats knocked her off desk. Everything else seem to be okay. I did go in and change color, brightness etc. But problem still there. Help, Pat

 

coloured lines horizontal

different coloured horizontal lines appear on my monitor if i leave my pc unattended for any lenght of time

any thoughts please
