Windows 10: Sizing Handles stopped working

I have hundreds of MS Word documents that include JPG images and/or graphics, e.g., photos, diagrams, maps, newspaper clippings ALL created with .doc as the file name extension. Literally overnight … Windows 10 SIZING HANDLES stopped working on documents with .doc extension but work on documents with .docx extension Yesterday no problem … Today I tried a creating a Word.doc but after positioning and image in the document the SIZING HANDLES would not work … they appear on the corners, sides, top and bottom but I cannot attach the cursor to any of them in order to resize the image.&nbs

Follow the steps to change the font size:

• Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
• Select "System".
• You can change the font size here.

Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

• Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
• Select "Control Panel" from suggestions.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Live Tiles Stop Working in Wide or Large Size

Method 1:

Windows Store App troubleshooter.

Follow the steps given below to run the Windows Store App.

a) Type troubleshooting
in the Search Box present on the Task Bar.

b) Select Troubleshooting.

c) Select View all on the top left corner.

d) Run Windows Store App troubleshooter.

If the method 1 doesn’t help , I suggest you to try
method 2.

Method 2:

Uninstall and reinstall Display drivers from Manufacturer website.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Search for Display Adapter and expand it.
• Right click on the Display Adapter and select Uninstall.

Once you have successfully uninstalled the Display Adapter then install the downloaded Display Adapter from the manufacturer's website.
