    Game crashing upon choosing a new skin seems to be a known issue with Minecraft. You may want to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the game to see if it resolves the issue. If the issue persists, I suggest you to get in touch with the
    Mojang Support
    as there is an open bug created on the same.
