"Skip all conflicts" stops Windows 11 from copying anything.

I've had Windows 11 for a year now, this problem has been present this entire time, but now it's causing real problems. In every other version of windows, I could just drag hundreds of files into a back-up folder and tell it to skip all conflicts, resulting in only the newest files being copied. In Windows 11, when I tell it to skip all conflicts, it just stops copying, as though all the files are duplicates. But they're not.The only way to move them all over is to rewrite the entire folder every time I try to back it up, a process that takes hours when it should take minutes.Does anyone know ho

    :)

  3. OneNote "Sync Conflicts"

    Hi Tom,

Sync conflicts error shown in OneNote can be resolved by using OneNote desktop client. To stop seeing this error, can you follow the below steps:

    1. Open the page which is having conflicts in OneNote desktop client or in Internet explorer
    2. Open the page in which this error is shown
    3. On the top of the page there will be a text bar shown. Pressing on the text bar will show conflicting pages for this page.
    4. Delete the conflicting page by selecting the page and right clicking on it.
    5. Sync the changes from desktop to server
    6. After the above steps, open the page in Mobile and tap on "refresh" to get the changes made on the server.
After step 6 is done, sync conflicting error message should be stopped from prompting.

    Hope this helps!

"Skip all conflicts" stops Windows 11 from copying anything.

Windows 10 no replace or skip file dialog box appearing.

When I copy a duplicate file I do not get a dialog box, just a file with the same name and copy added.

I have tried the following with no success :-

    Method 1:

Try resetting the File Explorer settings to defaults and see if that helps.

    1. Press Windows + E key to open File Explorer.
    2. Now click on View and click on Options.
    3. On the Folder Options window click on Restore Defaults.
    4. Now click on View tab and click on Restore Defaults.

Try copying the files with same names and see if you get the Skip or replace option window.

    Method 2:

Uncheck the Folder Merge Conflicts option and see if that helps. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below.

    1. Press Windows + E key to open File Explorer.
    2. Now click on View and click on Options.
    3. On the Folder Options window click on View tab.
    4. Under Advanced settings scroll down and uncheck the option Hide folder merge conflicts.
    5. Click on Apply and OK.
