    Skip desktop and login screen on windows 10?


    I'm planning an xbox stealth build, and I'm using the xbox console companion app as a cover for the interface But when I boot, it takes me through the sign in screen, and desktop while the xbox app boots up How can I skip both?(jump straight to windows, and give the xbox app the highest startup priority)

    Things I've done: I've tried the regedit thing(I cant remember the name of it), and got rid of the sign in button And set the xbox app to start with windows

    Skipping Windows Welcome Screen.

    When I initially installed Windows, it used to skip the welcome screen and login. Now after many updates, drivers, etc... it goes to welcome screen. I have no password and only one account. This is for my HTPC, and I really want to right away load MCE, but this thing is the only hitch I have. I looked through user's in control panel, but there is no option to skip. How do you skip the Welcome Screen?

    • Which screen are you referring to?
    • Are you able to login to Desktop?
    • Are you able to see the login screen?


    The power icon referred in the steps is present at the login screen. If you are able to see the login screen where you enter the password to go to Desktop, then you need to follow those steps. These steps to be followed if you are able to reach to
    login screen but unable to go to Desktop.



    Please provide us more information related to the issue so that we can assist you further.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

    Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
