Windows 10: SkullCandy Venue Headphones appearing as "Connected Voice" and not displaying audio unless...

I have skullcandy Venue headphones and for some reason when I connect them to my windows 10 pc they just say "Connected Voice". Usually it will say "Connected Voice Music" . I'm not entirely sure what happened to cause this but I know that the "stereo" option that is usually available is greyed out in the "Sounds" menu with a red arrow pointing downward. pressing connect does nothing and disabling and enabling it does nothing either. I'm not sure what to do and I'm currently looking for a fix if there is someone who might be able to help me.

Bluetooth headphones 'connected', Audio, Voice not connected

When I usually connect my headphones to my computer, after connected, the words "Audio, Voice" show up next to it. Today it stopped doing that and I'm getting nothing in the way of sound. it says 'connected' but not 'audio, voice' and of course, I'm getting
no sound. The headphones work fine on other devices, it's the computer that's giving me trouble.

follow these steps:

1-turn off your headset

2-let the windows search for a new bluetooth device

3-press and hold skullcandy button until your hear 'pairing"

4-Method skullcandy will appear in the bluetooth list

Bluetooth Headset will only connect as "Voice"

I've had these bluetooth headphones for about 2 years, they ahve been working fine until the last week or so. Whenever i connect them via bluetooth to my laptop, they only connect for voice, not audio and voice as it used to do. It's not the headphones
as i don't have this problem when using them with my phone, i tried using the solutions from this post: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...e/bf4bc6e8-a197-4a6a-b1dd-d529434b9b04?auth=1.
But none of those worked for me. I can still hear audio, it's just really quiet and low quality. If it matters, the headphones are skullcandy's grind wireless headphones.
