Windows 10: Sky Go

    Microsoft DO NOT support home computer users over the phone. Possibly you have been a victim of a "Fake support scam" see Tech Support Scams

    To FIX your IE settings GO

    Tools>Internet Options>Security tab,

    1. Click "Reset all zones to default".

    2. Click the "Trusted Sites" icon, then click the 'Sites' button, remove ANY websites you have placed in that list.... particularly and domain with sky.com. eg. remove
    https://sky.com,
    https://go.sky.com    , *.sky.com etc.

    Save changes.

    go the Sky Go Installer and click the Login button. It should work now.

    To keep your computer protected make sure that you have turned on IE's smartscreen filter (Tools>Smartscreen Filter) and keep your Windows programs up to date with Windows Updates(Start>Control Panel>Windows update)... If you have an Anti-virus product installed,
    ensure that its definitions are up-to-date.... the built-in Windows Defender from Microsoft is updated automatically when you run a Windows Update.

    Hi, I have had the same problem with my old vaio laptop, down graded Silverlight to an older version downloaded the relevant graphics drivers with moded INF files from here http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers, Sky go now runs in Explorer and Firefox with no probs My mail add is L: harry.calland@dsl.me.uk if you need any help.

    I've had no problems with this. You cannot watch sky go using edge as Silverlight is not supported but it has worked fine from day one through IE with the latest version of Silverlight installed.

    Well it's not working for me in IE or Firefox. I was going to buy a new laptop and run 10 on it but as I want Sky go it's now pointless!

    Works fine for me in Firefox, I had to deregister one of my two devices and register this one.

    OK I can try and de-register the PC and great if that works but I've looked in to this and you can only register one device per month. So there is the next problem as I haven't got a new laptop yet but if I do it needs to be running Sky go this month *Mad

    I have now fixed this by going into the Device manager and rolling back the display driver
    *Biggrin . This is odd seeing as these have not been updated since I've installed Win 10 *Huh
