Windows 10: SKY TV viewers (or SKY GO as well)

Hi folks

Is there any thing on the SKY TV platform that performs a search - whether on sky go or otherwise if you say on demand or whatever - you get an endless parade of icons across the screen but (at least I haven't found it) there's no search facility.

Every other multi-media platform I've used has a magnifying glass symbol with Search where you can look for content.

This seems to me so basic a function that I'm sure I've either installed something incorrectly or just missing a command.

Any help folks !!

(Added -- Found it -- but you have to have a sky remote otherwise there's no search -- so I'll have to source a sky remote --that's a nuisance if you have non sky / universal remotes - especially if you are watching SKY GO on a laptop - you don't want to carry around a slew of remotes !!!)

So I'll mark as solved (even though the solution is unsatisfactory - that's a deficiency in the SKY system -- why a universal remote also can't replicate the search code ???).

Sky TV Guide link for mobiles, or App for WP7, from where I can remote record through Sky +

There is an app in the Marketplace for Sky TV according to this article:

Sky Mobile for Windows Phone 7 now available - Coolsmartphone

I'm not sure if it is still available because I cannot see it in the Marketplace but that my be because of my location (US).

When I look on their website, they indicate that it has been replaced by TV Guide+

Sky Player app on N8?

Just been on Sky web page on phone via wi-fi and logged into My Sky

Looked at TV list and i can use the record function via web ?

Same account as the Sky Phone App

There must be no link on the record App ?/
