Windows 10: Skylum Luminar Neo prompts update to Windows 10 when I access it in Filters yet My Windows...

In spite of reinstalling Luminar Neo several times, I get the message to update to Windows 10 when I select Luminar Neo in Filters in Photoshop

Luminar Neo asks for 2015 - 2022 C++ Distribution and then does not Launch

I downloaded the latest version of Skylum Luminar Neo software and am unable to launch the app. Double click gets me a popup that asks if I want the app to make changes to C++ 2015 - 2022 distribution. Click Yes and the app will not launch. I can watch the app launch in task manager but it only appears for a second or two and then the process goes away.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
