Windows 10: Skype acoustic music issue - but Voice works fine

This is driving me nuts. Windows 11. 1 year old HP Laptop. Running latest version of SKYPE Desktop.When I enter a SKYPE video call with another person, they play music and I hear it just fine. When I play on my side, they can only hear my VOICE - not the Piano music. I've tried adjusting all the Video/Audio settings in SKYPE. Turned OFF and also set to LOW the Noise cancellation. Nothing works. Even when I try the "TEST VIDEO CALL" option. Voice only no music at all.Anyone experience this? I remember this working just fine on my older HP Laptop. TIA

Assassin Creed Syndicate Character voices are not coming while other sounds working perfect

Hello people,

I have installed Assassin Creed Syndicate last night, the game is working good no lag (Low Settings) at all, sounds is also working very fine. But I can not hear Character Voices.

As a fix I tried re-installing the game

I updated my Sound Driver as suggested here

yet it is not working...(go to my system specs for system information)

Windows 10 microphone is working for skype and is detected for windows. It does not work for applications (zoom, voice recorder of windows, etc.

Of course as I mentioned I followed all the above steps. The strange and unexplained thing is that the microphone is working for skype and windows 10 are recognising it and I can see that the microphone is working since in the sound setting the bar of the
volume of the voice in the Microsoft is moving correctly when it recognises voice. However, is completely dead to other applications. I assumed that it has to do with privacy setting however, I have click for the microphone to be "ON" for every app in the
computer.

The model of the laptop is ASUS UX410UAR. I believe that this is not a hardware issue since it is working for skype, but I am now updating online all the drivers individually for ASUS support just to make sure that it is not some "driver update". I was expecting
with full recovery (format) of the system the problem to resolved, however nothing changed.
