Windows 10: Skype disabled?

Discus and support Skype disabled? in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I've recently just noticed skype has been disabled in my startup in task manager.     Completely disable skype on startup?

    This is factually incorrect for current Skype. This option is unavailable. There appears to be no way to disable Skype from automatically running in the current version of WIndows 10,

    I guess Microsoft knows better that we do what is good for us.

    Completely disable skype on startup?

    If a Skype application is visible on background process under Task Manager, it's possible that one of your application is automatically signed in upon start up. To prevent this from happening, follow these steps:

    To disable start up on Skype

    • Open Skype application.
    • Select Tools.
    • Click on Options.
    • Select General settings.
    • Uncheck the Start Skype when I start Windows option.

    To log out of Skype preview

    • Open Skype preview.
    • Click your profile picture.
    • Select sign out.

    Note: You'll need to log back in if you wish to use either of the application.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I understand that you wish to disable the Skype app notification on your Windows 10. I'll certainly help you with this.

    To disable notifications in Skype App, try these steps.

    • Open Skype App and Press Ctrl + , to open Tools
    • Select Notifications tab.
    • Uncheck "Enable Skype for Windows Desktop notification" option
    Please follow these steps to disable the notifications in Skype Video App.

    • Open Skype Video App and click on [...] to open
      Settings      .
    • Under Notifications, turn off Instant message and Incoming calls notifications.
    You can set Quite Hours, if you wish to not get disturbed by any notifications.

    Set Quiet Hours in Windows 10
