Windows 10: Skype not hearing me at all

No one is able to hear me on Skype calls. My internal microphone isis select as default mic still there is no up movement on the bars when I speak to it.


Right now I don't have any external mic to check. I am sure there is no issues with the microphone as the device is only a month old.

I suggest you enable settings in the Playback Devices and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices.
• Click on the Playback Devices and right click on the
  Speakers/Headphones.
• Check mark on the Show Disabled Devices and
  Show Disconnected Devices.

If the issue persists the follow the below step.

Step 2:

Cortana can't hear me

I have tried this but did not work for me. If I use skype microphone works fine no issues. But Cortana can not hear or speak at all ! any suggestions ?
