    Skype Preview App No Notifications


    I recently installed Windows 10 Anniversary, and wanted to use the built in Skype app instead of the desktop one. I set everything up and noticed that I don't get notifications when a message comes in until I check it myself. I don't get a notification at all. Any ideas?

    Windows 10 - Skype Preview - How to get it to show reminders / icon in system tray?

    No, all of my notifications are on, and I have investigated the Skype Preview ones, without success.

    As mentioned, this is a clear deficiency in the new Skype Preview version.

    Cortana missed calls, missed texts notifications

    I think Microsoft wants you to use Skype Preview as your messaging app and that's why they turned off the missed text notification within Cortana.

    Just a thought.
