    How to recover hidden icon in System tray on Windows 10?

    Hi Callum,

    As you are facing issues with un-hiding the icon in System tray, we will help you with this issue.

    Do let us know which is the icon you have deleted from the system tray for better assistance?

    I suggest you to try the below steps to add the icons to Taskbar and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key, click on Settings.
    • Click on System> Notifications & actions.
    • Click on Select which icons appear on taskbar (to select the icons that appear on Taskbar)
      and also click on Turn system icons on or off

    Minimize to icon tray not working in Windows 10 Anniversary Edition

    Since updating to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, RealTemp is no longer minimizing to my icon tray. Is anyone else having these issues?

    Windows 10 - Skype Preview - How to get it to show reminders / icon in system tray?

    OK, so I just returned to my laptop to see a brief message flash up by the system tray on my newly installed Windows 10 laptop. I hovered over all of the tray icons, but nothing obvious suggested it had notified me (!) so I just left it.

    A few minutes later I saw another message, and this time realised it was a friend messaging me. Checked Facebook page, nothing, and again nothing obvious in the tray. So I went to the Windows menu and called up the new (and improved?!) Skype Preview.

    Yes, sure enough, there were messages waiting for me, even though there was not obvious info about this.

    So, on the old Skype, I got a small icon in the tray that was easy to get to, and it showed a status if there were messages. How do I get this back on Skype Preview? As far as I can see, there is nothing in the settings menu to offer this. Seems like a downgrade
    to me when important functionality is lost. Do I need to re-install the older (but more informative) version?!
