Windows 10: Skype

Discus and support Skype in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have just removed the plain vanilla version of Skype because when I clean installed Build 10565, reinstalled it and then tried to log in, I couldn't....     I have just removed the plain vanilla version of Skype because when I clean installed Build 10565, reinstalled it and then tried to log in, I couldn't. Except with my Microsoft Account; which requires me to sign in every single time I want to look at Skype.

    Further, I can't get rid of old conversations that are no longer relevant. It's just one big mess!

    I've tried to find a user guide to it, but so far, nothing that's remotely readable has shown up.

    Is there some way I can recover my account in Skype? This is driving me crazy!
