    Skypee\GoogleUpdate.lnk Worm:Win32/Ippedo!rfn


    I keep scanning a removable Hard Disk Drive and keep removing this virus in the folder:
    Skypee\GoogleUpdate.lnk

    I did some research and found out it was this worm:

    Worm:Win32/Ippedo!rfn

    but the virus keep showing again even after I remove the it .

    I did the scan many times using windows defender but it keeps showing again

    How can I remove it permanently?

    Worm: Win32/Rebhip.Z and Worm: Win32/Rebhip.U

    Hi,

    my computer has been infected by these 2 viruses (Worm: Win32/Rebhip.Z and Worm: Win32/Rebhip.U). Whenever I scan with Windows Defender it does not find anything. However, when i reboot the computer it automatically quarantines them each time i reboot.

    How do i get rid of these viruses?? Is there a safe program outside of Windows Defender? I tried deleting some temporary files and updating my java and chrome as this website suggested but no luck. Please help! Thanks!

    New Skype Worm Confirmed

    Skype has learned that a computer virus called "w32/Ramex.A" is affecting users of Skype for Windows. Users whose computers are infected with this virus will send a chat message to other Skype users asking them to click on a web link that can infect the computer of the person who receives the message. The worm is also known as "WORM_SKIPI.A (Trend)," and "W32/Pykse.worm.b" (McAfee). When a Skype user receives chat message with an internet link - either from Skype contacts or users not on the contact list - and download the .scr file covered as .jpg picture, the worm will install itself to the system and create several startup keys in the registry. Currently, F-Secure, Kaspersky Lab and Symantec have already updated their antivirus products to detect and remove the worm. Expert users who know what they’re doing can also remove the worm manually, by following this guide.
