Windows 10: Skyrim will not launch properly on a certain PC user?

Hi, I am attempting to play Skyrim Anniversary Edition bought from Steam on my PC, however, the game will not launch properly on the primary user account. I have already fixed out any software and hardware problems i.e, drivers, etc with Bethesda's Support. However, playing the game on an alternate user same PC, lets me launch and play as usual. Any way to make my main user launch Skyrim correctly? I am the only person who uses this computer. I have also already attempted to put Skyrim on an exception list for Windows Defender, and I have no other antivirus programs currently installed

A quick refresh of the files solves the issue. Mods conflicting: Mods enhance the gameplay of the users but if they conflict, Skyrim will not launch at all.

You can try the following steps and let us know the result. You can just skip those you have done already.

Solution 1: Restart Skyrim

• Press the Xbox button. You can find this on your controller.
  
• Highlight the title. This will select the game.
  
• Press Menu. This allows you to access the game system settings.
  
• Select Quit. This will stop the game from running.
  
• Start Skyrim. This will start the game. Try checking if the problem still occurs.
  

Solution 2: Restart the Xbox.

Suggest you to launch the on-screen keyboard to check if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

  Press “Windows key + R” to get the run window.

  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.
  

Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.
