Windows 10: Sleep mode not functioning

The power button as well closing the lid doesn¨t put the computer to sleep mode regardless all settings being prior to this comande. Even when I try changing the command to any other option the system doesn"t follow the command, it just remains on.

Since the Sleep option is not available in both System and Power Sleep settings, I suggest that you run the Power troubleshooter to help us determine what might be causing this problem. Follow these steps:

• In the Cortana search, type in Troubleshoot, and select it in the search results.
• Under Troubleshoot, click Power, then Run the troubleshooter.
• Hit Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

Let the troubleshooter finish and share with me the results. Please take note if you encounter further errors.

Sleep mode no longer function on display power?

Please follow the below methods and check if it works,

Method 1: Power Troubleshoot.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Power troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Please let us know whether you are able to see the sleep mode options by referring the following steps

1. In Search bar type Control panel

2. Select Power options

3. In power saver select change power settings and after that
select Change advanced power settings in that check whether you can see the
sleep mode.
