Windows 10: Slide show changes periodically when there is an software upgrade

Have a slideshow that I've used for a number of years based on pictures in a designated folder. I set the pictures to full screen and to change approx. every 10 minutes. However I've noticed with some MSN Windows software upgrades not only do the settings change but when I go back in to to change them back sometimes the 'options' that I originally used to set them up have disappeared. For example before the last MSN upgrade my slideshow was approximately 6 to 7 FULL screen pictures. Now the pictures are overlapping, sliding or fading in, etc. Any suggestions to how to reset my screen saver to full screen, designated picture folder, and 10 minutes? Would also appreciate if anyone knows whether the settings can be made permanent?

Use the following steps:

Navigate to Settings>Personalize>Background

Under background,

In the drop down list select Slide show.

Stop photo slide show during sleep mode

You may follow the steps mentioned below so that the slide show stop after 20 minutes:

• Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
• Type Screen saver and click on Change Screen saver.
• Under screen saver - Wait- increase the minutes to 20.
• Click OK and check with the issue.
