  1. Slider is Missing in Win 10 for Thumbnail Preview Size Adjustment

The slider in the top right of File Explorer is missing in Windows 10!! This is an extremely helpful tool that I used all the time in Win 7. You can use it to size your Icon previews to whatever size works best for you between the Small to Extra Large icons offered. Where can I find this tool to add it again?Anyone know, please?

Missing Adjust Screen Brightness slider in Power Options

My HP laptop performed a Windows Update today. As a result, I've lost my "Adjust Screen Brightness" slider in Power Options. I can still find it in Settings - Display.

I have Win 10. I've found a YouTube video (specifically for Win 7) that suggests going to Device Manager - Monitors - Properties - Uninstall Device, but I've also read that doing so will merely result in the same driver being reinstalled.

What should I do to get the "Adjust Screen Brightness" slider back in Power Options?

Thanks so much for your help.

  3. In Windows 10, how can I enlarge thumbnail size?

Even after selecting Extra large icons, the thumbnails are too small for me to discern the images. I completed the steps for:

    1. Option 1: 'To Turn On Thumbnail Previews in File Explorer'.
    2. Changing Image Thumbnail Size per this Registry Hack Method.

But my thumbnails have not enlarged.

    Thumbnail sizes

In my Windows 10, there is no difference in the size of the thumbnail size between large and very large. Medium is extremely small thumbnails. I upgraded from 8.1 where the thumbnails were considerably larger in appearance. Any ideas how I can adjust
    them to be larger thumbnails?
