    slideshow issues


    windows explorer image folder files do not cycle through all the images in file on slideshow (just cycle though 30-40 images and repeats)
    How to change setting to cycle through all images in a file folder?
    *not talking about screen saver or background image cyling.

    Please advise help

    slideshow function will only display about 30 photographs from a folder before it starts to repeat?

    Before proceeding, we need more information to help uyou better.

    1) Which slideshow function are you referring to? Is it the Background wallpaper slideshow/Lock screen slideshow/any others?

    2) Have you made any chnages to the Slideshow settings prior to the issue?

    3) How many pictures are present in the folder which you use for slideshow? Did you try to set the pictures present in the other folders as the slideshow and check to isolate the issue?

    Windows 10 Lock screen slide show does not work anymore.

    I still have an issue with this.

    If someone, have an alternative app that can do pretty much similar to lock screen slideshow(I just like slideshow of win10 lock screen, it is beautiful), please tell me.

    I really want to wake up with slideshow on my PC's screen ;_;

    Are you trying to use subfolders? Those generally aren't well-supported.

    Yes they are all .jpg files - they are in subfolders, not directly off "pictures" folder

    Well, it reads files from one folder/subfolder at a time. You'll need some 3rd party program for more flexibility.

    Ah, sorry I guess I wasn't clear. all images on single subfolder - up to win 8.1 there was no issue regarding slideshow from subfolder, once into win 10, doesn't work and I see no setting methods -like properties or preference adjustments.

    You can use the old interface by running exactly:

    control /name Microsoft.Personalization /page pageWallpaper

    from a command prompt. Does it work there... ?
