    Do I have to pay for driver updates.? I keep getting something from Slimware Utilities that says my drivers are out of date. I think they want me to pay for updating them.

    How to uninstall software "Driver update" SlimWare Utilities.inc?

    Welcome to Microsoft Community. I will surely help you.

    To uninstall the SlimWare Utilities follow these steps and check if it helps.

    You may try to uninstall and reinstall the SlimWare Utilities
    and check if it works. To uninstall the software follow these steps:


    • Right-click on
      Start Button and click on Programs and Features.

    • Right-click on the
      SlimWare Utilities and click on
      Uninstall.
    Note: Make sure you have the installation media for
    SlimWare Utilities before uninstalling it.

    If I were you I'd uninstall that software. To do so, see here: http://support.driverupdate.net/Home?pType=dUpdate&sctype=Driver_Update&pName=Driver Update

    Normally there is no need to update any drivers unless you're experiencing a specific problem.
