Windows 10: Slow and lag after reset this pc

Hi! i got a new laptop i5 11400H RTX 3050, 8gb ram nvme m.2 its so much better but it still slow and lagging in windows 11 can someone help me it got slow after reset pc

PC lag -> reset - > super slow black screen

Hi Shuu555,

I once has a super slow PC. The cause of it was the CPU heating up due to dried up thermal paste between the CPU & the heatsink & a fan choked with dirt.

I would suggest that you take a look there. HOWEVER, be sure to have a spare tube of thermal paste in the event that you want to separate the CPU fan to confirm.

Another issue would be an ageing HDD causing slow reads which in turn cause serious lag.

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
