Windows 10: Slow Backup Speeds

I'm running 2 Pc's on Windows 10 Home V 10.0.19041 Build 19041. Had a major feature update on 10/8/2020. Recently I attempted to backup my documents to one backup drive; my photos to another drive. This process has worked efficiently before, and didn't take much time less than an hour. This time, when I started the process I got a window indicating that the Pc was caculating how long the backups would take. It estimated photos as over 1 day; similar with documents, though somewhat less time. Tried a test to use a thumb drive with less data and it also was slow. Then signed up for OneDrive and started the backup process yesterday around noon EST -- the process is still going on and the indicator in the OneDrive cloud says transer is going at around 1.2 MB/second. Have tested my router connection to Verizon network and it's running around 100 MB/sec up and down, but from my devices I'm getting strange speeds like 1-3 MB/Sec upload and 4 - 9 MB/sec down.


Spent 2 hours or more online with a Dell support tech yesterday -- checked the PC out from every angle and found nothing wrong. Frustrated and don't know what to check next. Wondering if anyone else has seen this problem and could it be something with the latest update of Windows?

Microsoft store download speeds and windows 10 app load speeds are very slow

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.

Menu Scroll Speed is very slow.

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the scroll speed of the menu's in Edge. I just switched from chrome and it takes forever to scroll in a menu in edge.

NOTE: This is not a corrupt file issue. It scrolls just is really slow.

I use a lot of drop down lists that are very long. It literally scrolls less than 1/4 the speed that chrome does....

Any suggestions?
