    Slow boot from sleep


    I mostly 'Sleep' my W10 pc, using the lid for closing and opening. Since I installed W10 upgrade from W7 late 2015, the pc is taking up to 90 sec for the screen to wake although other apps wake quickly ... for example,I can hear the incoming mail check. Under the prior W7 waking was almost instant.

    90 sec is mostly the delay, similar to the time taken if the pc is in hibernate ... which I rarely use. I have checked the power settings to confirm that 'sleep' settings are in use.

    Extremely slow startup & wakeup

    I have the exact same issue with Windows 10 on a HP DV7-4000. Very slow to wake from sleep, and slow boot. Why is Microsoft ignoring this?

    Has anyone found a fix, or something that improves boot and wake speed?

    Not fixed....

    I still have to restart after computer goes to 'sleep' and slow boot up...

    NO third party software...
