running with dual RTX Geforce 3060's 1 is disabled as its not in use currently.CONCLUSION _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. In case you are using a WLAN adapter, try disabling it to get bet

  2. Latency issues with Audio recording on the PC

I am running windows 10. i have a sound latency problem. I have read about the Realtek driver issue, but my device manager doesn't say that name, rather it says "High Definition Audio Device. What is really frustrating, is that my old (slow) windows xp computer
was able to do my audio recording without any noticeable latency, but now, I can't listen and record at the same time.

Latency issues are often related to drivers but can be due to other things.

If you search the forum for e.g.
    stutter
    Latencymon

starting with the most recent posts, you may find something to help. I strongly suggest you try that.

And maybe someone who helped with one of those may post here when there's a readable report.

No one here is really expert in this, just 2 or 3 have a bit more experience of it.

Audio skipping related to drivers? Latency reports included.

I'm having trouble with audio playback skipping a fair amount via my optical out cable to my speakers. Other direct connect audio outputs don't seem to be affected - only audio out via optical seems to have an issue. I have a done a fair amount of research
myself but I'm at my wits end. I'm using a desktop running windows 10, I can post system setup if required. Speakers I'm trying to run it to are Logitech z-5500s. Steps I've taken so far:

    1. Tested to see if direct connect works, it does (via 3.5 mm cable to another speaker)

    2. Reinstall audio drivers, make sure all other drivers up to date

    3. Update BIOS

    4. Tried a new fiber optic audio cable

    5. Hooked up my xbox to Logitech z5500s via optical cable - audio performance was fine

It seems that the issue is with the computer and not the speakers/optic cable, especially given #6. I tried everything that I thought would help and still it skips quite a bit.

I'm not sure what else to try - any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. Here is the latency diagnostic test that was most current:
