Windows 10: Slow Download Speed, Fast Upload Speed

Good morning Support Community,Having an odd problem that I haven't found a solution for online so am going to post.I recently upgraded my internet to 5 Gb Fiber connection.When I run speed tests I'm getting ~950 Mb/s Download and 2355 Mb/s Upload on my 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet Adaptor.Have verified that 5 Gb/s is running to the end of my Cat 6a cable by laptop with 10Gb/s ethernet adaptor.My desktop:MB: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-FWindows 11 Home Ver: 23H2 OS Build: 22635.3139No bloatware, running standard windows security and windows defenderTroubleshooting So Farerformed Clean Boot: No ChangePerformed

Super fast download speeds but Really slow upload speeds

Hi Team,

I have been having a really annoying issue, I get really fast download speeds and upload speeds on all my devices except on my main PC the download speeds are fine, but the upload speed is 1mbps. it's been like this for a few months I've tried a lot.

At first, I thought it was the isp however I've checked with several other devices and come to the conclusion that it has to do with a setting with Windows as the problem persists with an ethernet cable or Wifi with the same speeds.

I've attempted to use the fixes in the link below but made it worse, I managed to reverse the settings and really lost with what to do.

If a website has a slow server, a fast internet connection may be experienced but may have very slow download speeds. Download speed will be affected with the website server as it also impact your internet connection speed.

You may try a test with other websites and check the results with the website that you are experiencing slow download speed.

slow upload speed

I'm embarrassed I didn't think of plugging the ethernet into another computer. Anyway, the result is that the speed on a laptop with the same cable is 91 Mbps download, 39 Mbps upload.
A couple of other puzzles: One is that the download speed on my desktop was around 900 Mbps, which is insanely fast, but the upload speed was under .2 Mbps. Now, after going through several of these iterations of remedies, the upload speed is still extremely slow, but the download speed is now around 32 Mbps, which is about 4% of what it was. But to my surprise, with a download speed of around 30, I don't notice too much difference for what I do. Anyway, awaiting your next suggestion.

With regard to re-installing Windows 10, even with keep my files this seems to be way over the top, as it removes apps and drivers. I find that a bit terrifying.
