  2. Keyboard input lag (Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, Windows 10 20H2)

Hi there. I've got yet another Windows 10 problem. lol

This time it's my keyboard. I'm using a Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, on Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I have been experiencing keyboard input lag off and on for a couple months now, and I've searched for possible solutions, but none so far have worked. I was hoping you guys could suggest some fixes.

Here's what I've tried, based on the suggestions I've found on the web:
    • Updating the keyboard/dongle's drivers (there are no drivers on Logitechs's site, oddly) and firmware. Nope.
    • Swapping USB ports. Nada.
    • Unplugging any extraneous USB devices. Zilch.
    • Checking the batteries. No joy.

As I was typing this it was lagging here and there. It's a bit disconcerting. Anyway... I don't think I missed anything, but if you need more information or diagnostics, lemme know and I'll upload 'em.

  3. Slow input from keyboard with lag. Wired and bluetooth keyboards have the same result, whats wrong?

    Hi,

I work with a desktop I build myself and updated from Windows 10 to 11 Home.

At first nothing was wrong, but recently (2 weeks) I have noticed that typing any words on native applications seems to be with some kind of lag.

This happens when I use Notepad, Office Word, Whatsapp, Firefox, Visual Studio Code or any type of application.

    • My drivers are up to date (checked Device Manager, used the DISM commands (no issues found), uninstalled drivers and installed again).
    • Battery of my bluetooth Keyboard (Logitech Mini MX) is fully charged.
    • Wired keyboard also shows the same behavior.
    • I even performed a clean install (fully clean) and after installing my applications the same behavior came back.
    • Troubleshoot does not show any issues.
    • Keyboards work fine on my laptops (Macbook and HP)
    • I have the latest updates from Windows 11
I have a very high end desktop and this issues is driving me mad. I work as a coder and typing is a big part of my work.

    System information

    - Windows 11 Home edition

    - GPU NVIDIA 3090

    - CPU MSI PRO Z690 WIFI DDR4

    - 32GB RAM

    - SSD Samsung 980 Pro 2TB

    - Mouse Logitech MX Master 3

    - Keyboard Logitech MX Keys Mini

    - Wired keyboard HyperX Red Switch Mechanical

Please help me with this issue. I have been struggling with this issue for a couple of weeks already.

Bluetooth devices interfere with mouse/keyboard input

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right section for my issue

Anyhow, while using my keyboard and mouse for work I've had a really irritating issue where they would constantly spaz out at random.

    They would either:
    • Randomly disconnect/reconnect
    • Hinder my ability to click on certain windows or even the taskbar unless I ctr+alt+delete which restores the control temporarily
    • Have a mind of its own such as spamming the same last used key for a second or two

However I recently narrowed down the source and realized this issue only occurs when the laptop is connected to my bluetooth earbuds. (Occurred with two different bluetooth earbud models however both by Samsung if that matters)

Just an FYI but the keyboard and mouse are wired and are connected via a KVM switch if that makes any difference.

Any ideas as to why certain bluetooth devices if not all impair the input for my mouse and keyboard would be greatly appreciated.
