Windows 10: Slow internet on one PC after receiving a copyright infrigment from internet provider

Hi,


The internet on one of my computer has been slower on one of my PC every since I received a notice from my internet provider. The notice was about alleged copyright infrigment happening on my network.


Ever since, whenever I launch my PC, it takes about 1 minute for the first few internet search to go trough. This does not happen on my laptop on wifi or wired connection with the same cable that my PC uses - tested it. Even weirder is that I can fix the issue by connecting both my computers together with MouseWithoutBorder and doing a search on the laptop and my PC simultaneously.


This issue only lasts for the first few searches, once my PC has been ON for a while, there is not problems. I was wondering what could cause the issue.

PS: I'm only blaming the notice because the issue started happening around the same time.

Slow Internet speeds since returning home

I did. They ran through all the necessary steps with me to check and said they cannot see a problem on their end.

 

Shared internet to network bridge slows down receive

As soon as internet connection is shared to network bridge, receive is slowed down by 70-90MB/s and send is unaffected.

This is from 1809. On 20h2 its 10-20MB/s faster. Oldest and latest drivers for eths.

How does this make sense?
