Windows 10: Slow internet speeds on Alienware Alpha Steam Machine Running Win10

Hello! I recently found to be having issues with my Alienware Alpha's wireless abilities,On my laptop, I can get download speeds upwards of 120-200 MB/s in the same room as the Alpha, however on the Alpha I cannot muster over 20-30 MB/s, And sometimes it'll drop down to 2-3 Mb/s.My wireless card is an Intel AC-1360All of my drivers are up to dateIt is using a wireless connectionI have tried DNS flushing, Using a different DNS server as well.I have tried uninstalling my network card and reinstalling it.I have reset my PC Keep my personal filesI have no clue what else to try. Slow Internet speed on only one computer.

Hi Cody,

Slow internet speed on one of your computer could be due to the following:

• Outdated network adapter driver
• Different Wi-Fi chipset
• Computer processing speed

Make sure that the network driver of your computer(s) are always updated.

We also suggest you to contact your internet service provider for them to check your internet connection speed and give you more information.

slow download speed except steam

My download speed is very slow when i want to download something from firefox or chrome (around 200kb/s)

But when i download games from steam it is much faster(1-2mb)

I already did speedtests but my steam download speed is much faster than the download speed in the speedtest?
