Windows 10: Slow Internet Wi-fi Upload Mbps 1.52

Slow Internet, on speedteste Wi-fi Download Mbps 433.57, Upload Mbps 1.52. Through the Lan port, the speed on Speedteste Download Mbps 812.97, Upload Mbps 771.47.

Slow wi-fi

My laptop, with Windows 10, runs extremely slow on Wi-fi - about 15 Mbps. The warranty dept at Costco is suggesting running Windows 10 back to the factory default. Do you think this will help? I'm thinking it must be a hardware issue, specifically the
network card?

 

Slow Wi-Fi internet Speed on PC

Hi,

I'm having persistent problems with slow Internet speeds via Wi-Fi on my PC as compared to my mobile phone and laptop . When I run speed test on the three devices that are in the same position in the house I get the
following :-

this problem has been ongoing for several weeks now and has been getting worse
- previously I was getting about half the laptop speeds on my PC . I'm running windows 10 professional on my PC and here are the specifications :-

so far I've completed the following all with no result!

• A simple restart
• disabling and re enabling the Wi-Fi card
• Flushed DNS via the command prompt
• manually set DNS settings in properties for the device
• did a full reinstall of windows

None of this has worked - I am three floors up from where the router is so Ethernet is not an alternative especially as I also have a problem with TP link powerline plugs that I am trying to resolve separately!



Please can you advise how I can get Wi-Fi on my PC at a similar speed to that I receive on my laptop .

Slow WI-FI

My phone and laptop (DELL INSPIRON 3521 WINDOWS 10 1607) are conntcted to the same wi-fi router
(NETIS WF2419 V2.2.36123). Internet speed on my phone is
PING: 7 ms DOWNLOAD: 4.55 Mbps UPLOAD: 0.41 Mbps. Internet speed on my laptop is
PING: 11 ms DOWNLOAD: 1.58 Mbps UPLOAD: 0.49 Mbps. I don't know what happens. Why internet on laptop is slower? Can anyone help to fix this?

This happens only with my home router which works properly with my other devices. When I connect laptop to other wifi network internet speed is good.
