    Slow loading of a shared path


    Good morning,While i'm opening a remote folder on my WS server image below, i notice the window remains freezed for almost 10". The access time is very slow if i'm using a software like Word or Excel.This doesn't happen if I'm using Windows Explorer, it's very fast in this case.How can I improve the situation?

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

    Add a path to $PATH?

    what exactly do you need to decipher about that path line? also, what are you installing? perhaps i can help.

    Yeah, I think you're right. I think the purpose of the echo command was to check if ~/bin was in the $PATH file. My problem is that I can't decipher the output and I don't know how to add ~/bin to the $PATH file.

    Just for clarification, the snippet of instructions I gave is just a few steps in the installation process. Nothing is actually supposed to be installed with those steps.
