    Slow loading taskbar in Windows 10


    Hello everyone!

    I have been using windows 10 for well over a year now, but ever since I installed the anniversary update, the taskbar icons take about 4-5 minutes to load and I also can't access the notifications bar before that. The actual boot times seem normal (maybe a few extra seconds after the login screen) and I can load up programs like firefox just fine right after booting up. I tried fixing it on my own by:
    - Virus scanning with both avast and malwarebytes
    - Seeing if there were anymore updates
    - Installing the .Net Framework 3.5 and the latest Visual C++ libraries
    - Uninstalling avast
    - Installing and running Ccleaner
    - Updating drivers
    - Disabling startup programs
    Starting up in Safe Mode also didn't help, which makes me suspect it's something with either Windows or a driver issue.
    I also ran scandisk and chkdsk to no avail. My pc also seems to be running at normal temperatures.

    Problems with Taskbar load time and Start button right-click options

    Well, I am only running a single OS (Windows 10 Pro 46-bit).

    I am still not clear as to how this Hyper-V would impact the super-slow loading of my taskbar.
