    Slow or not responding applications after reformat


    2 days ago, I can still use my Dell Inspiron 15 5000windows 10 without any problems then last night, my laptop rebooted a bit longer than usual then all of my files were gone. All applications are very slow to open. I reformatted it for 16 hrs? And now, any application that I open still does not respond or is very slowsuch as web browsers or even command prompt. Can anyone help me with this? It’s a bit frustrating given that I don’t usually download any applications from an unknown websites and I usually use my laptop for school.

    Recover or Reformat?

    The reformat won't budge?

    I did what you said and then was told to remove the CD from the CD-Rom Drive, put in the recovery CD and then press the 'OK' button to continue

    So I changed to the next disk but the OK doesn't appear to be being 'pressed'. Yes I have pushed enter on the keyboard which is what I have been using to get me through the other steps..

    Any suggestions?

    Cortana is slow to respond.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and it is running Windows 10. My problem is that when I first turn my computer on and ask Cortana a question it is slow to respond. It isn't slow after my computer has been running for a while. Any suggestions?
