    Slow PC all of a sudden


    So around the beginning of this month, my Laptop just suddenly became really slow. It takes forever to boot up and to load simple things like file explorer. I scanned for a virus using windows defender but nothing showed up so I tried malware bytes and it said it found malware, deleting it did nothing. Am not sure if maybe there is a hidden virus or what but the laptop was fine a month ago. Also, in file explorer, the "This PC" icon just turned black so am not sure if thats a sign of a virus or something. Another thing, the internet on this wifi just stops working. it shows that its connected

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
