Windows 10: Slow responding in a windows 10 specific file

HelloI have a file in 'E' drive which is almost 80GB and contains about 70000 filesfile>propertirs>general>contains: 74000When I open 'E' drive everything is working fine.But when I open this file , it got slow and slow and slower and even if I close the file it'll remain as slow as it was and even get slower and made me to keep the power button for a few seconds until laptop turns off.What shlod I do?

• When exactly does the system slow performance issue persists?
• Does the issue confined while performing any specific task on Windows 10?
• Have you installed all the pending Windows Updates and driver updates after upgrading to Windows 10?

I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting steps and check it if helps.

Step 1: Run the System maintenance troubleshooter.

System Maintenance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

• Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
• Select System Maintenance.

• Click on Check for updates.

• Try to install the updates being shown.

Windows 10 search for a specific folder name and file name

Carlos: Thanks for your reply. What you suggest is what I have been doing. I search for folders with a specific name and get a list. Then I have to search each folder for a specific file. So it's a two step search and that's what I was trying to avoid.

I assume there are applications out there that allow for an "AND" search in Windows. I'll try that approach.
