Windows 10: Slow to wake from sleep AND all open apps now closed?

Issue is on a 1 year old ThinkPad with W11 and it take 4 to 5 minutes to wake from sleep, and when I'm able to log back in all of my previously open apps are gone, i.e. closed. For example, when reopening a previously opened app, I get the document recovery option.I've searched and read about similar issues in the Windows Community without a solution. Windows updates installed.Manufacturer updates installed.Power options and trouble shooter checked.All startup apps turned off.Yesterday I closed the lid several times and let the PC sit, each time it responded normally. Thank you for posting your reply. Apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.

Sleep / Wake Function, malfunctions after waking

Microsoft store's Apps close on while on sleeping

There were only three tutorials for apps closing during sleep which I placed at the top. Where are the results for those steps?

The rest of my post was about general sleep problems which cover everything that affects sleep, and sleep is what's at issue here.

Would you please go back to the top of the thread and at least work through the steps for sleep closing apps, report back the results of those so I know what else to suggest? There is not a lot on this out there, so we may need to find some new fixes here.
