    Slow wifi receive, high wifi speeds.


    I have a very good Wi-Fi speed, yet task manager is saying I'm only receiving like 100 KBPS and games are randomly lagging hard and taking 10 minutes to load, or downloading is randomly slow.

    WiFi Speed

    Something is wrong with my WiFi on this computer. I am connected but the WiFi speed to this computer is slow. All other devices are running fine. The wifi speed to this on computer is very slow it is at 72mbps and it should be at 300mbps.

    Slow transfer speed - Wifi

    I actually had a similar issue a few months back. My WIFI speeds literally dropped by about 70% overnight. Ethernet was fine. I did everything to solve it. Scanned for spyware, window tweaks, router tweaks. In the end on the verge of given up I reinstalled windows and it solved it. That was my first WIFI issue a decade of WIFI.
