Windows 10: SLOW WINDOWS It takes 1~5 minutes to open anything after something happened near the end of...

It happened all of a sudden, I've got 27 computers that act like something is grabbing the double click and the mouse just circles. It is slow as dirt with almost no processor use and nearly zero memory being utilized. I uninstalled the anti-virus bitdefender, this is what the uninstall an update looks like. this just sits like this for 15 minutes or more while I can't pick any updates to uninstall, it doesn't even list them.

This seemed to help. Time will tell. It certainly is more helpful and practical than the suggestion to end toe Explorer task and start a new one.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

I've never seen at least one them not be successful.

I had suggested first to set Display at 0, Sleep at 1 minute and Hibernate at 2 minutes and then after each step sit back to observe. I have rarely had to work all the way through the list.

Absolute thoroughness is required when troubleshooting Sleep, skipping nothing and asking back if you need any help to complete a step. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step, so please do not skip any. If you need help performing any step
