Windows 10: Slow!

I have a new Dell laptop with Windows 10. It runs so slowly - worse than my desktop I just replaced. What am i doing incorrectly? I am technically challenged!

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?
