    Slower performance after Win 10 Pro upgrade from Win 7 Pro


    I recently upgraded from Win 7 Pro 32-bit version to Win 10 Pro 32-bit version. My laptop feels a bit slower now than it did before. I suspect it's because Win 10 needs more RAM than Win 7 did. I have 8GB DDR3 RAM but since I'm running a 32-bit version of the OS, it only is using 4GB of the available RAM. Memory usage is typically 2.5GB/3.4GB available.


    Apparently I could run Win 7 Pro adequately in 4GB of RAM well enough, but now my laptop is noticeably less responsive.


    Does Win 10 Pro use more RAM than Win 7 Pro did?

    Is there a way to somehow make use of all 8GB of the RAM? I am running on an x-64-based processor.

    Win 7 pro to Upgrade to Win 10 Pro

    Long story. Several months ago upgraded from win 7 pro to win 10 pro.
    Everything fine until BSOD a few days ago. After many hrs of trying to fix with no luck I decided to do clean install of win 7 again and then using Media Creation Tool downloaded and created what I thought was a Win 10 Pro ISO disk.
    Used disk and loaded win 10 to pc. Things again fine except have the “Activate Window” message and that’s when I discovered the ISO was Win 10 Home.
    Why didn’t the Media Creation Tool create a Win 10 Pro ISO and how do I now get the Win 10 Pro ISO.

    Will the free upgrade be only the HOME version or will it upgrade Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro.............

    I am running Win 7 Pro now and it has taken a lot of time to stop missing XP Pro........(still love it).

    When the free upgrade of Win 10 comes out will it be only for Win 10 Home or will it upgrade a Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro...?

    I am using wins 10 pro, but during end user activation it shows wins 7 pro

    Any suggestion?
